Crystal has been dancing and performing from a young age and opened her own dance school at age 17. She has continued to work and play in the dance industry, primarily in contemporary dance, ballet and musical theatre as a performer and choreographer since that time. Most recently a love of aerial hoops has continued to provide a dance and stage outlet as Crystal worked to complete studies in Journalism at Deakin University, publishing articles in The Age and working on local Radio through this time.
A love of writing and all things live art has inspired this project, the combined energies of a growing team of like-minded people is what is turning Good Vibes Melbourne into the no 1 site to keep up to date with what’s happening on stage in the best damn city in the world…. “If it’s on a stage, it’s on this page.” Follow us for reviews, promotions, ticket giveaways and more!

Max has worked as a script editor/consultant and writer for over ten years, both in Melbourne and Los Angeles. As an award-winning actor, he studied for three years at the Melbourne Actor’s Lab, before leaving the profession to pursue life as an author. He has reviewed theatre, film, ballet and opera since 2012, for various publications; he is also an essayist, blogger and has published five novels, including the bestseller “Dino Hunt”.
Claire loves all things gothic, circus and performance. She is currently studying History at Monash University and is also a part-time photographer, actress (Screen & Stage), model and circus performer- Aerialist.
Alyssa is a self proclaimed ‘book nerd’ with an insatiable passion for words, which over the years has turned her into a walking thesaurus. She has previously put these skills to use for everything from dabbling in writing her own stories, to writing her coworkers’ emails. She also has experience in the performing arts, having spent a decade performing various genres of dance, as well as theatre throughout high-school and college. These interests combine colourfully with the opportunity to review the varied entertainment that Melbourne has to offer.
Jeevan, who goes by Franky, has had an interest in photography since he was a teenager and has turned a hobby into a professional interest. He has been expanding his photography and photo editing skills for the better part of the last ten years. He particularly enjoys portrait, glamour, and fashion photography, and has a passion for visual editing. Being a part of the Good Vibes Melbourne team means that every evening of entertainment is an opportunity to expand the boundaries of photography.
Jon has been writing and performing around Melbourne for the past 10 years. Starting out schooling in film at Swinburne University he has worked for both Network 10 and the ABC in various capacities. His love for the theatre and comedy lead him away from the screen and onto the stage where he has found a love for the immediacy of theatre and the relationship with its audience.
Tanya is a lover of music and has been singing as long as she has been talking…and almost as often! Early solo performances included charity events and weddings until branching out into her own musical Trio on the Gold Coast and working in theatre. Tanya loves telling a story through song and other creative outlets such as poetry (having two poems published in a collection of works in the US). Tanya is an emotive performer first and foremost but balances this with writing fiction with 3 very different novels in the making.
As a Melbourne Fringe performer Tanya has personal experience in creating and delivering a show and knows how much work and passion goes into sharing performance art. Tanya enjoys watching shows almost as much as performing and loves the opportunity to share her experience as an audience member in writing reviews.
Performing to adoring audiences all over Australia she’s the girl next door with a whole lot more, and then some! Camilla’s experience along with her positive can do attitude has taken her from strength to strength. From writing and producing her own solo cabaret show to touring nation-wide. She runs a modern burlesque duo, mentors other professionals, and has produced, directed and stage- managed musicals with over 140 school-aged children. Her penchant for working with others, supporting fellow performers and enthusiasm for building the Arts community in Australia makes her a delicious addition to the Good Vibes Melbourne team! She’ll be bringing us a sneak peak from behind the curtains of the performing arts industry with a particular focus on mental health in the arts.
